New WCA EVP, Chelsea Hajny testified on Friday with WCA Lobbyist, Mark Streuli, in front of the Department of Fish & Wildlife Commission formally opposing their "Wolf-Livestock Conflict Deterrence" rulemaking proposal on behalf of the WCA. Chelsea stressed the financial and emotional toll wolf depredations have on our ranchers, and asked the WDFW to continue doing THEIR job in managing wolves, and not to put more burden on our members to pay for, and take extra steps just to keep our cattle alive.
The WCA, Chelsea and our board will continue to stay engaged in this pressing state issue on behalf of our members and hard-working ranchers, and will continue to keep you informed thru our weekly communications to our WCA members.
