SETTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT: WCA is 100% Pro-Dam

Our recent communication regarding a WSDOT survey has caused a misunderstanding of our position regarding dams. We apologize for that and want to be clear, the WCA does not, and will never, support the breaching of the Lower Snake River dams.

Our intent was to alert members to the ongoing push to undermine our river system. We shared this study to mobilize opposition—not to endorse its contents.

These dams are non-negotiable. WCA stands shoulder-to-shoulder with our industry partners in total opposition to any breach or "alternative" scenario. Our aim is to protect the livelihoods of cattlemen and the entire agricultural community, and that starts with protecting our dams.
