The U.S. Forest Service is hosting a webinar on the proposed updates to the rangeland management directives on February 3, 2021. The webinar will offer additional inforamtion and calrification on the proposed directive updates. These directives were published for a 60-day public comment period on December 18, 2020. This includes updates to the Forest Service Manual and handbook. The most recent example of this is the current lawsuits being filed against the US Forest Service attacking grazing allotments on a forest service permit. Even though you may not be directly impacted by a permit, make not mistake about it, this is an attempt to eradicate grazing from Washington."
