Don't miss your chance to join Washington’s Beef Community next week for for the 14th Annual Beef Counts Rollover Auction!
The Annual Beef Counts Rollover Auction will be held at the Toppenish Livestock Commission (428 South G Street) on Tuesday, October 3rd at 4:45pm.
This year's calf has been generously donated by the Klickitat County Cattlemen’s Association and Schuster Herefords. All funds raised during the Annual Rollover Auction will go directly to Second Harvest to purchase beef for their Mobile Market program, serving your neighbors in need across Eastern Washington. The Beef Counts program is a partnership with Washington's Beef Community, Agri Beef Co, and Second Harvest that provides high-quality, nutritious beef to local food banks to help hungry, local families.
Last year the Rollover Auction raised $27,332. Those funds were matched by Agri Beef Co who also process and ship the beef at no cost to Second Harvest. This means that 100% of every contribution to Beef Counts is used to supply more beef to those in need - not overhead or promotion. This auction is a special opportunity to unite with your peers, raise your number, and feed your neighbors in need.
If you are unable to attend this year’s auction but wish to donate, please contact Toppenish Livestock Commission directly at 509.865.2820 to place your call-in donation or you can also donate directly to Beef Counts at Second Harvest online.
