SBOH proposed unnecessary rule-making efforts to regulate the "Keeping of Animals" Update

Dear Friends:

Thank you to Senators Judy Warnick and Shelly Short and Representatives Tom Dent and Joe Schmick for joining us in a meeting to push back on the State Board of Health's (SBOH) proposed unnecessary rule-making efforts to regulate the "Keeping of Animals". The agency's proposal would add additional animal waste handling regulations to Washington's Ag industry which is already one of the most regulated in the State.
