Jeff Dawson is a fourth-generation rancher from Colville, Washington, where he and his family operate a cow-calf operation raising Charolais and Angus cattle. One-third of their ranching operation depends on Forest Service grazing permits, highlighting their close connection to public lands.
Jeff is an active leader in the ranching community. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Washington Cattlemen’s Association and chairs the association’s Public Lands Committee. Nationally, he is honored to serve as the Wildlife Committee Chairman for the National Public Lands Council, where he advocates for balanced, science-based management of wildlife and rangelands.
